...It’s about empowering you to take charge of your life, to live in peace and joy.
We all try a lot of things to stop the feelings of depression and anxiety. I bet you’ve tried to do it on your own, talking with friends and family (sometimes strangers), online searches and endless hours on medical websites such as WebMd, trying to figure out what is going on with you. Even if you have support from your loved ones, they just do not know how to help you.
And that’s where I step in! One in 4 Americans suffer with depression and/or anxiety and each person has their personal history and reasons. Some are more functional than others, some need a more one on one therapy to help understand why this is happening. A busy daily schedule, stress at work, relationship problems, not being able to complete tasks because you feel overwhelmed!
I use an eclectic approach in psychotherapy but the most commonly used methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and mindfulness.
I see children, adolescents and adults.
